        Fifth largest of all of the Greek islands is Chios Island in the Aegean Sea. Known in touristic terms for its medieval villages, this island is great for people who want to experience history and culture. Neo Moni, an 11th Century monastery is located in the island and is recognized as a World Heritage Site and is found by many to be highly interesting. There is also a small museum in a renovated cell here, making it great for those who would like to learn about history. On the East coast of the island, you will find Kambos; citrus orchards and gorgeous mansions make this area very special and many tourists find it a wonderful place to visit. Chios Town, the capital of Chios Island, is home to Arabian influenced architecture, an ancient theater and public gardens, making it somewhere to definitely add to your list of places to visit. The Korai Library is also very famous; it contains around 95,000 volumes and is enjoyed by many who visit.
