What you need to know before traveling to Tilos

Located in the Aegean Sea is the stunning island of Tilos. Here, you will find interesting buildings from history, such as the Monastery of Áyios Pandeleímon who is patron saint of the island. Kharkhadió Cave on the west of the island is also very historically interesting since bones of dwarf elephants and Neolithic objects were found here. In Megalo Horio, you will find an Elephant Museum which shows these bones to the public. These days, Mikro Horio is deserted, but its old buildings still remain and the village is very atmospheric to walk around. If you are looking for a lovely beach to relax on during your journey, Eristos beach is very beautiful and remains relatively unspoiled and on the far end it is used as a nudist beach.
