Going to the Volos Festival and the Balkan Crafts Fair is one of the many delightful activities in Volos that you can do during your visit to Greece. Held in August every year, the festival as well as the crafts fair take place in the Volos Municipal Theatre, and they run for almost the entire month.

Cultural and artistic events make up the bulk of the activities in Volos that can be enjoyed during the festival. You can take in the exhibition that is held in the gardens of the municipal theatre or enjoy one of the many concerts slated for the month. There are also folk dancing as well as drama performances held in the theatre which will be perfect to occupy your nights in the town. Along with the Volos Festival, the Balkan Crafts Fair will also be held in the theatre during the last ten days of August. During this time, there will not only be crafts on sale, but music and dancing from all across the Balkan areas as well.
