The County of Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen is situated in the north-eastern region of Hungry, and shares a border with Slovakia. Interestingly, the Catholic owner of the Diosgyor Estate refused to grant permission to use wood from the nearby forests to rebuild the church. This was because it was a Protestant church. It wasnt until twenty years had passed that the little church was finally reconstructed. The belfry bells have played the Westminster Chimes every 15 minutes since 1941.
