"Cheap, clean, but hard to sleep"
I have stayed in this hostel for 2 nights. First night was terrible - I was staying in the room for 8, facing the courtyard, and whole night somebody was coming and leaving. Also some girls were shouting outside until very late. Second night was much better - I got a small single room facing the street and I could sleep most of the night. Hostel is very good, when your group has full room, so you dont have to bother with others (who can come late and drunk). Otherwise it is kept clean - and cleaner was so "precise" that she even took my favorite towel, which was not found... Service (reception) is non-stop and is located in a big room on the 2nd floor, where is also small kitchen, well-equipped and fully available, even with prepared tea and coffee that you can use, and some couches. Wifi is free, but its quality was really terrible - it is much better around that "living room", where is probably router located. Bathrooms were very clean and I could lock all my thing in a box in the room, so I can't complain on these.

Stay at the Casa de la Musica, Budapest when you travel to Hungary on a budget. It’s a friendly, affordable Budapest guest house in the city's central Józsefváros area (also called the 8th District or District VIII), within walking distance of the Hungarian National Museum. Newly renovated, the Casa de la Musica Hostel offers both private rooms and beds in shared dorms. The guest house is decorated in a lively Latin American style, much of its exterior and interior painted in vivid stripes of various colours, representing the diversities of life. There’s free Wi-Fi internet access, and those traveling without their own computers can use the public workstations in the computer room, open 24 hours, to check their email or go online. The guest house also features a laundry room with coin-operated washing machines, dryers, irons, and ironing boards; a recreation room with a TV and board games; a well equipped communal kitchen; a bar; and an outdoor area with a pergola and patio furniture. Within the Józsefváros area, the Casa de la Musica Hostel is a few blocks from Budapest's Grand Boulevard (Nagykörút), the busy ring road that encloses the Pest side of the city centre along east bank of the Danube. The sections closest to the guest house are officially called József körút and Ferenc körút. At the ring road's intersection with another major thoroughfare called Rákóczi út is the square called Blaha Lujza tér. At the square are a major public transportation junction of the Budapest Metro and the 111-year-old New York Café. Other attractions along the Grand Boulevard/Nagykörút include the Budapest Western railway station (Budapest Nyugati pályaudvar), built by Gustave Eiffel’s team in 1877; the Franz Liszt Academy of Music (in Hungarian called the Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Egyetem, or sometimes just the Zeneakadémia, or Music Academy), founded in 1875; and the Museum of Applied Arts (Magyar Iparművészeti Múzeum), housed in a turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau palace.
