Fisherman's Bastion Budapest

When visiting a place called Castle Hill in Budapest, you would expect to be in the presence of the homes of past royalty. Just down the hill from the castle relics, you will find a fascinating area known as Fisherman’s Bastion. There is a lot of confusion as to the reason for the name. As far as anyone knows, there were no battles fought here. The reasonable explanation for the name is the legend that the fisherman actually defended Castle Hill from this vantage point. This interesting Budapest attraction was built by the same people that reconstructed the Matyas Church.
