Parádfürdo Hotels and Accommodation
Located just 100 kilometers from Budapest on the northern slopes of the Mátra-hills, Parádfürdo has much to delight the visitor. This town is famous for its healing waters and medicinal baths. The most well-known of these is the sulphuric "Csevice", which is used in a drinking cure for stomach and digestive problems. Do not miss the chance to visit the Classicist-style bath house built here in 1827, which also houses an interesting museum. The next stop should be the coach museum which has exhibitions of traditional music, dance, national costumes, vehicles, tools and, of course, coaches. Nearby is the oldest monument in Parádfürdo, the Roman Catholic church built in 1786.
The Cifra stable, the manor-house, the Zsuzsanna-Villa, the Erzsebet Hotel are all points of interest on an enjoyable getaway.
