Bonyhád Hotels and Accommodation
Hungary’s central Bonyhád is home to many fine gardens. It also hosts the Völgység museum. Walk over to it from your hotel in Bonyhád. It will provide you with an excellent overview of the local culture and history. You can find out about the local minorities. You can also visit two other “museums.” One devotes itself to retaining the memory of Mór Perczel. He was a renowned General in 1848-1849. In the first room, you can see traditional costumes and furniture. In the stables, sweet corn storage room and granary, there is typical farm equipment on display. From here, return to your Bonyhád hotel. Relax before you go to see the late Baroque Lutheran Church (1797-1800). This is an elegant church, slender lines with a Rococo interior.
