Cons: I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. i just came back from reykjavik and it was the beginning of their winter. this hotel had no heater in the rooms during very cold weather. i don't know how anybody can sleep in the cold. also, the wifi in this hotel is so weak that you hardly can get any signal in the room. i had to do use my computer in a public area where the signal was a little bit better. when i confronted the owner/manager there about the weak reception, not only did he not do anything about it but blamed my computer for not having a strong antennae and said there is probably wrong with my computer. i have a one year old macbook pro and it was been working perfectly. there is absolutely nothing wrong with my computer. the receptionist/owner/manager is not there all the time and the hotel seems to be unattended most of the time. i was so disappointed with this hotel that i only stayed there half the time and requested my refund for the portion that i didn't stay there. i instead moved to the 4th floor hotel which was one floor up from the guesthouse 101. for the same price, they offer better rooms with heater and a free buffet breakfast every morning. i highly recommend 4th floor hotel and would not recommend anyone to stay at the guesthouse 101! what a waste of money!
