Connemara Golf Club, one of Connemara's popular attractions, always proves to be a challenge to all those who play her. Sandwiched by the Twelve Bens Mountains and the sea of West Ireland, this championship golf link provides an exhilarating golfing experience attributed to by the hard and clear wind blow; and the constant change of sunshine and deep shadows. Also known as the Ballyconneely Golf Club, it is one of the most splendid settings imaginable such as its breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean.

This golf course was initially built, in 1992, as an 18 hole venue, now boasts 27 holes of sublime golf links. Though it is located in one of Ireland's most westerly tips, it still is worth the travel. One is immediately challenged with the course's 72par course, which is rarely achieved. Experts argue that this challenge is attributed to by the splendid view one gets over whelmed by at the course and the demand imposed by the back nine holes. This, for lovers of the game, is deemed an exciting challenge.
