 "Not great"
If all you are looking for is a place to sleep for 1 night then it's fine but if you are looking to experience an Irish welcome in a firendly b&b then it's not for you. The staff were ok, not very friendly or welcoming. but they were polite I stayed in a triple room with 2 friends, the room was fine, clean but dated (the duvet covers and pictures were faded, the place just needed a bit of tlc). The most disappointing part was the breakfast, the coffee was undrinkable and the quality of the food was not good. The location is good , not far from Newcastle village and just off the main road to Cliften. I would be slow to stay here again as I know there is better out there for less money (the room cost €135)

Only 10 minutes' walk from Galway City Centre, Corrib Haven is an economic Galway guest house within easy reach of the famous Salthill Promenade. There is a regular bus service into the city centre and you can walk over to the National University of Ireland (NUI) Galway and the University College Hospital in approx. 5 minutes. It is also easy to get to this Galway guest house as it is located just off the N59 Road to Connemara, about 20 minutes' drive from Galway Airport. Providing great-value-for-money accommodation in Galway, the Corrib Haven Guest House is a quiet and welcoming place to stay which is surrounded by a tropical landscaped garden with a nice water feature. You can park free of charge outside in the guest house's car park and there is a TV lounge where you can relax and have a chat with fellow guests in the evenings. Breakfasts are also served upon request.
