 "Great place to stay"
My friend and I found this hotel an excellent place to stay. Only a 15 min walk/7 min taxi ride from Galway centre. Staff were all genuinely helpful, from cleaners, to bar staff to reception staff to the spa. Reception staff took extra time to help with directions or recommending places to see and visit. there was no problem when we decided to stay another night and no problem with a slightly later checkout. I would recommend it highly

 "Friendly staff, pleasant stay, good location"
This is a very reasonably priced hotel for the quality of experience provided. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious food. Clean rooms. The spa was definitely the standout experience of the weekend. Would recommend.

 "Hotel stay"
The hotel was easily found and within walking distance of the city center-about 20 minutes.The deluxe double provided plenty of space. The room was supplied with all the usual amenities and a large work space and work chair.The breakfast was the same each morning with the emphasis on the cooked foods. The cold meat and cheese selection was limited to one of each item which could be expanded a little for those who do not eat cooked breakfasts.The bistro seems popular and provided a good selection on the menu. Underground parking and a supermarket/garage are attached to the hotel.A cinema complex and shopping center are a 10 minute walk away.

 "Very nice hotel"
Great location, a nice walk to Eyre Sqr, staff were very very friendly, food was great, bar was nice with a good atmosphere. Rooms were very comfortable too. Very very reasonable too. Will be back. Thanks to all at The Pillo

 "Enjoyable Stay"
There was an issue with our room being double booked but it was not the fault of the hotel rather other guests who caused great confusion. The hotel's Duty Manager dealt with it extremely well and we were moved to a better room and given a complimentary bottle of wine. I cannot fault the hotel at all. The service was fantastic and the food was very good. However, given the proximity of the hotel to the main road the windows are not very sound proof and it was quite noisy. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying there again.
