The Connemara Regional Station is home to Aer Arann Islands, who operate their air services daily to the three Arann Islands. The airport is located about 20 Miles west of Galway city along the coast at the well known small town of Inverin. It sits just under the boundary of the Shannon CTA for the approach to the runway 08 at Carnmore from 2500 to FL75.
This airport was, initially, a small airline that services the three Aran Islands, but has since expanded to offer its services for the intercity and international routes. The Aran Islands service operates from the Connemara Regional Airport at Inverin, just approximately 30km away from Galway city. There is an hourly service available during the peak seasons. The airport’s fare is very competitive with ferry companies, whilst it offers an amazing view from the air. The service that one gets is far from the conventional, as it leaves the traveler with more than a memory.
