Central, which is the only reason to stay here.Rooms are shabby and falling apart. No coffee making stuff in single rooms. Shower was terrible. The place needs total refurbishment or demolition. I would favour demolition.

Pros: Staff really helpfull regarding we'd stayed there with our 6 months baby. perfect location to visit dublin and also take the train for exploring irland. bed was really confy
Cons: The place is old but clean and the room was little. if your planning on staying in the room all day you sould consider finding something else. if what you're looking for is a cheap confy place just to sleep while you visit you found your place.

Pros: Really friendly staff lovely breakfasts very comfortable beds. overall would definately recommend this bed and breakfast :)
Cons: It would be nice if you could have a little place to make tea and coffee in the rooms, is also rather noisy but nothing a set of earplugs don't hep just remember to pack them if you're a light sleeper!

Pros: Avondale was a great value for the price and location. the inclusion of a hearty irish breakfast in the cost of the room made this one of the better places i stayed on my backpacking trip in europe.
Cons: Be cautious of the rooms facing the street. if you are a light sleeper the sounds of morning traffic may disturb you.
