 "Disappointed"
My family and I stayed at the Clarion for one night on our return from holiday. We arrived very late and on checking in we're told how to get to our rooms. My husband and and myself had a twin room on ground floor. The room it's self was ok except for the smell of smoke. As non-smokers we were not happy about this as we had requested a non-smoking room. My daughter her husband and two sons aged 16 & 10 had a 'family room' on the first floor. This room had adjoining doors. Not for the family they were in one room and a couple in the other adjoining room. My daughters family did not get any sleep as they were subjected to hours of embarrassing loud and rude noises coming from next door. Even when my son-in-law complained the noises continued through the night. Although the hotel duty manager was most apologetic and the matter dealt witxh, we felt our stay in the Clarion had been ruined.

"Nearby to the airport, but a little bit leaved to itself"
5 minutes walk from the airport, very easy to reach by foot. The place seems not old, but aged, probably this impression is due to the brown wall to wall carpting.Excellent reception, very helpful also late in the night.Clean room, wide bathroom. There was an evident problem to the shower head that poor lot of water on the floor, pointed out on the feedback request flyer.Wonderful breakfast, full Irish breakfast I mean.Very confortable for the buses to reach Dublin Centre.Budget 69 euro for a double room, 20 for the breakfast (recommended).Fulvio & Erika.

 "Meeting a returning travellerer"
Real comfy bed and a good nights sleep even with planes so close by. The food in bar at night was superb. Its a nice place to sit relax and read the paper. The breakfast was not as wonderful bit dried up and over cooked. Main problem was that Iron in room 346 will not plug in. As it was 5,30 am when i found this out I didn't want to disturb the desk so met my traveller a bit wrinkled. Your Toilet flush is not very good, seems bit rusty and stiff. Grout in bathroom discoloured and grubby looking. Water was wonderfully hot and plentiful.

 "Flying visit!"
Booked this hotel for an overnight stay with parking as we were flying out of Dublin Airport on a red eye flight, reasonable value, rooms clean not plush but comfortable. Ate bar food, I had steak and it was tough but my husband enjoyed his burger. We didn't have breakfast. Overall couldn't complain and would certainly consider this option again.

 "was"
Pros: was.very impressed with the hotel, the foyer was bright and welcoming, the check in was easy i was a bit taken aback when they told me that there was a charge for the complementary airport bus but said nothing, but when i checked out the bill was 3 euro cheaper (so technically it was included). we requested a wake up call and received it promptly. although we didn't eat the food did look good. the drink was expensive but i suppose thats just dublin prices. would recommend this hotel.

"It's location is unbeatable for dublin airport"
Pros: It's location is unbeatable for dublin airport. the reception staff were friendly and efficient. the hotel was clean and up to date. we got a great price through 1800 which included breakfast.
Cons: There is an advertised shuttle bus between the hotel and the city centre - but it's only when you get there you are told it's only outbound so you need to make your own transport arrangements to return. whilst this was still a bonus (the other hotels don't even offer the outbound) i think it should be made clear at the time of booking.
