hotel is not overally elaborate - carpets are stained in hallways, room was not amazing - bathroom shower was making strange noises. Breakfast didnt have a great range and the kudos bar at evening had a horrific pre threatre menu.Asides from that location is great - 10 mins walk into town, there are some nices restaurants around the IFCS area. One thing thety need to improve on is the car parking - the signage into and out of it is very poor. We are 4 other couples couldnt find the entrance door to get our cars parked, then we found the small door with a sheet on it saying clarion car park. then the electronic gate was broke so we had to buzz the reception.Small things that should be basic for any 4* rated hotel!

Cons: Staff were slow on check-in and check-out. also they were easily distracted, chatting and whispering with eachother while us (the hotel guests) were left waiting. myself and my boyfriend were unimpressed.
The 4-star Clarion Hotel IFSC Dublin City achieves an ideal balance between value and service. This is an excellent option for those who require a larger selection of rooms to choose from. If you want to visit Merrion Square Park, this hotel is a good option. O'Connell Street and Temple bar are also worth a visit. Shelbourne Park is one fun-filled destination in the near vicinity. A museum visit is always interesting; try the nearby National Gallery of Ireland or Natural History Museum. Lansdowne Road Stadium is nearby.
