It is 200 years old and was once the home of famous poets and playwrights Mr. Dion Boucicault and Lafcadio Hearne (Koizumi Yakumo). We have gone to great lengths to restore the buildings and the hostel still maintains the character of years gone by. There is a marvelous friendly atmosphere here with hostellers and staff and the hostel is open 24 hours a day all year round. It consists of specially designed dormitories which can accommodate 6, 8, 10 or 12 people. All dormitories have en-suite showers and toilets - the showers are FREE!.
