A great little hotel in central Dublin,just a 5 minute walk from O'Connell Street.On entering the reception area it was difficult to imagine where all the rooms were,but after climbing three short flights of stairs we found our double room.The level of decor in the room and quality of the bathroom fitments were on a par with hotels that we had stayed in costing much more. The room was an adequate size for two people and the emperor bed was a joy to sleep in.Breakfasts were provided downstairs and next door in a restaurant under the same management and were freshly cooked to order and licensed even at breakfast time!!The staff were exceptionally helpful especially Tavi and Mat,but I mention these two as they are the only names I can remember and all the staff were excellent.We will certainly stay at the Kingfisher Townhouse again,hopefully in the not too distant future.

Pros: Very nice well maintained apartment, clean & has everything you need. definitie value for money.
Cons: The hot water is on a timer & the first night the timer & boost wasn't working & we had no hot water for a shower. this was fixed & worked fine the next day.

Pros: Hi, we stayed in the two bedroom apartment and was very pleased with the accommodation, only thing was missing was no mirror in bedroom and lack of plug sockets, otherwise excellent, very clean and perfect location for city centre.

Cons: Not at all what we expected or were lead to believe. no utensils, no pots to cook, the worst room not at all an apartment it was a hotel size room with a sink, two plates to cook on and no fridge! not a townhouse at all! checked out immediatly however the manager would not let us go and insisted we stayed for two days which were the most uncomfortable two days of our holiday!we booked orignally for 11 days and were looking forward to having a townhouse experience not a nightmare experience. would not recommend this hotel to anyone perhaps young people who just need a place to sleep and even then the bed was the most uncomfortable. a terrible hotel!!!!

Pros: The room was dated, but very well cleaned. bed linen and towels seemed new. there was a microwave, fridge, and 2 hob rings, so you can make yourself food, although no crocks or utensils, so micro-meals only really!
staff were friendly and looked after my luggage until the evening as i had a late flight. the breakfast was huge, i didn't need any lunch after that!
Cons: The tv didn't work, but the receptionist informed me that they had called the sky engineer.
