This quaint and historic park, located in the Ballsbridge area of Dublin, can trace its roots back to 1907 World's Fair that was hosted on its grounds. The Earl of Pembroke donated the land for the Irish International Exhibition and then, after the fair, gifted it to the city for use as a park. The original bandstand and pond are still within the grounds of the park. It was named Herbert Park after the Earl of Pembroke's family name, shortly after the fair was over.
