Cons: I don't want to be negative because i had a nice enough experience with this hotel but was staying there because i was attending a concert at croke park and dublin was basically booked out!! whilst the hotel had an element of 'old-time charm' i would not book this hotel if i was staying for a leisurely weekend. please note the standard room booked was dark and tiny with a musty smell! i couldn't get the wardrobe door open wide enough to see the markings on the safe. okay the instructions for use were on the inside of the door so could read those, however, because i couldn't get the door open could barely read the actual numbers etc on the front of the safe to be able to use it properly. my bedroom had a jacuzzi bath with shower above the bath - fine, except the shower was basically a trickle of water. i did mention this to reception when i was checking out and they apologised and immediately rang someone and alerted them to this fact. don't mean to be negative but am just pointing out a few details.
Cons: Very noisy party in reception room in hotel on saturday night made sleep impossible until after 2 am
Cons: No
Cons: Ingenting negativt.
both staff at breakfast and in the bar were attentive.
Cons: We had indicated that we would like a quiet room. we were disappointed with the location of the room as it faced directly out onto lower abbey st over the luas tram stop. the traffic noise was very load and people continued to leave bars in the area until well in the morning. we did express our disappointment to the person at the departure desk but she was disinterested and tole us that we had to expect this because of the location of the hotel. clients should be warned before booking.
Cons: No
