Morton Stadium is a National Athletics Stadium north of Dublin in Ireland. As well as hosting athletics events, the Stadium is also the home of a football club and was used to host the Special Olympics World Games in 2003. In 1973 the track was resurfaced with a tartan track, which was the first of its kind in Ireland. It has a small covered stand for 800 people, and uncovered stands for 8000 people. It also has dressing rooms and indoor athletics facilities, as well as areas for the various clubs that are based at the stadium.
