The Natural History Museum in Dublin is currently undergoing a restoration programme, but even while it is closed, the building hosts a variety of exhibitions, some of which include some of the exhibits from the museum.
The displays at the museum include many stuffed animals, as well as skeletons and jarred animals. It is a great place to see animals that may no longer be common, as well as skeletons and preserved parts that it would not be easy to see anywhere else. Some of the displays from the museum are now being housed at the National Museum of Ireland.
