Pearse Street Station in Dublin allows you easy travel to other parts of the city and the surrounding countryside. The station is located on the south side of the city on Westland Row. In more recent times Pearse Street Station, more commonly known as Pearse Station, also provides services for the DART trains, as well as serving as head offices for the Irish Railway DART/Commuter division.
The station was named after the Pearse brothers, who were an important part of the Irish rebellion known as the Easter Rising. Several changes have been made to Pearse Station over the years, including the closing of platforms, and the addition of a coffee shop to the facility.
