Ah, Killarney! Every year visitors arrive here to enjoy the many offerings of the town. This leaves you free to enjoy such things as the Church of the Holy Trinity and nearby Killarney National Park. It is not hard to make your way around the town. You can easily locate Church of the Holy Trinity. Here, you can admire the organ gallery and above it the five-lighted stained glass window by Harry Clark (1889-1931) as well as the Flemish-style altarpiece. This is part of the Franciscan Friary. You can also visit the tinier St. Mary’s Church. Anglo-Irish, this pretty, religious structure dates from 1870 and has stained glass windows in a somewhat pre-Raphaelite style. For a change, you might want to wander through the Museum of Irish Transport featuring vintage cars, old bikes and other modes of transportation.
