South Dublin is an Irish County that many may know by a different name. Until 1994 it was known as Belgard. No matter what name by which you know it, it's one of the best places to visit when touring Ireland. It is touched by the beautiful Dublin Mountains on its southernmost border, which provide great outdoors activities for many visitors. The town of Ballyboden is here, once the home of the famous Gaelic Athletic Association club Bollyboden St. Enda's. The village of Greenhills is known for its Church of the holy spirit, with a unique copper roof that draws many architecture fans. It is also the home of Tymon Park, the second largest park in Dublin.
