I've been fortunate to stay in many amazing hotels around the world, and i can now add hashimi to this list! it is right in the thrumming, atmospheric, very safe heart of jerusalem's old city and is a beautiful, hospitable, clean, delightful hotel run by friendly and helpful staff. i'm jewish and it has been 100% comfortable for me staying there, and they're impressively tolerant of me dressing in short sleeves etc. it is exceptional value for money, not least because of the spectacular view across the old city from its gorgeous roof terrace.
