Ozzano dell'Emilia Hotels and Accommodation

Ozzano dell'Emilia is known as the town of the Blessed Lucia da Settefonti. Lucia da Settefonti made a name for herself when in 12th century, she led a religious life in the middle of the war that has drawn numerous followers to the congregation she belonged to. Her remains right now can be found in the Chiesa di Sant'Andrea, a church that was built in the same century that she was born. Not so far is the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Quaderna that traces its history as far as 14th century. Inside, you will find numerous sculptures especially on the altar about the intercession for the Blessed Virgin Mary. There’s a small museum on Roman archeology that was put up because of the findings in this town of an ancient Roman settlement. It’s currently expanding in the town’s library as they continue their excavation.
