"The room was very nice as was the breakfast"
Pros: The room was very nice as was the breakfast. the location was close enough to walk to all the major attractions and was a 5 minute walk to the train station which was great.
Cons: Some of the reception desk staff did not seem quite as welcoming or helpful as other places we stayed in italy but it may have been more language/cultural differences.
Hotel Adler Cavalieri achieves its 4-star rating admirably. Nearby Santa Maria Novella railway station can help you explore the surroundings without wearing out your soles. A landmark such as Piazza della Republica is conveniently close, as are bridge Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria. Pilgrim or not, you may enjoy a visit to Santa Maria Novella while you are here. For visitors to Fortezza da Basso, this hotel is a great option.
