Pros: Staff were very helpful and friendly - lots of advice and always someone available to help us. the room was well thought out; the ensuite was a good size, given the norm in italy - there was always plenty of hot water and the air conditioning was super.
Cons: The breakfast room is only open on saturday and sunday, which is not made clear at the time of booking. once it is open, it is really just food from the coffee shop contained within the ground floor of the hotel served with very dodgy cappucino - but the staff were so lovely, we couldn't complain about this one very small thing and the choice of pastries on offer made up for the inconvenience......beginning to wonder if this should be in the negatives at all now!

Pros: The hotel is beautiful and very central.
Cons: My one complaint is we had to leave for the airport at 8am and the hotel staff was not yet in so we could not officially check out. the person who was there tried to call the manager but couldn't reach him, and in general was very unhelpful. clearly, they need a plan for this if it happens in the future.
