The property is the typographer Barbera's old building, originally part of a 14th century convent that used to host wayfarers and pilgrims: this mix of culture and hospitality remains in the friendly, excentric and charming atmosphere. The hotel is decorated with paintings made by Florentine artists who have stayed there, and special soirées, exhibitions and concerts are often organized.
