"Comfortable an clean hotel, close to the center (15 min.)"

Had a great stay for 2 nights in Florence in September. The staff is good and was always willing to help. The hotel is very modern and very well equipped. It’s in a great location, just about a 15 minute walk from the historic downtown. Our room was large compared to a typical European hotel room. The place is clean and they seem to be very much on top of keeping up with their maintenance. Their breakfast was good - ham, mortadella, salami, prosciutto, eggs, crossants pastries, cereals, etc. We used this hotel to visit Florence for 2 days .Here are some of the pluses & minuses:Pros: relatively easy to get to from the airport, convenient to the historic downtown, fantastic staff, clean, modern, large room, well equipped, comfortable bed,walking distance to several restaurants.Cons: internet – you have to pay . In most hotels internet is free and you can connect as many devices as you would like. ½ door on the shower – I don’t get it. Why not a whole door? The ½ door just results in water spilling on the floor. Recommendations: You can take a bus from the airport to the main train station and then a short walk (10 min.) to the hotel. The bus runs on the ½ hour and your bus ticket you will get on the tram (€ 6). While visiting Florence you don’t need a car.

Excellent hotel presentation

A lot of guests here come by public transport due to the proximity of Santa Maria Novella railway station. Torrigiana Gardens is within easy walking distance, as are Uffizi Gallery and Le Pavoniere Swimming Pool.
