The location is good if you want to make the most of the public transport. very close to santa maria novella station. our room was very spacious with a good view of the tuscan hills.
Did not seem like it was 4 star hotel as the lobbies and room seemed run down. the hotel staff were not increadibly helpful. i dont think i would stay there again.

Restaurant was good.
Photos on website showed the newly decorated rooms, but we felt we were put into the poor end of the hotel.

Rooms were spacious and clean. breakfast was excellent.
I specifically requested the renovated rooms over 2 months before arrival,however this request was not met. after complaining, we were transferred to other rooms, but these were not fully renovated either. it was not until my husband complained that we were finally accommodated into the rooms that we had originally booked. however, the rooms were not interconnecing, as we required since we have 3 children and this was considerably inconvenient.
