 "Convenient to train station"
Pros: Convenient to train station. some english speaking staff. staff very friendly and helpful. breakfast buffet well maintained even during busy times. internet service worked well.
Cons: Upon check-in our reservation could not be found in computer, however, we were given a room immediately. walls not soundproof; could hear almost everything being said in adjacent rooms and hallway. tv did not work very well and a small light bulb was found on our bed upon entering the room for the first time.

Pros: Really close to train station: a great plus if you are traveling by train. rooms surprisingly quiet. free wifi. spacious rooms. would definitely recommend it.
Cons: Looked really rundown from the outside esp on googlemap. pleasantly surprised when we walked in.

 "The location is good if you want to make the most of the public transport"
Pros: The location is good if you want to make the most of the public transport. very close to santa maria novella station. our room was very spacious with a good view of the tuscan hills.
Cons: Did not seem like it was 4 star hotel as the lobbies and room seemed run down. the hotel staff were not increadibly helpful. i dont think i would stay there again.

Pros: Restaurant was good.
Cons: Photos on website showed the newly decorated rooms, but we felt we were put into the poor end of the hotel.

 "Rooms were spacious and clean"
Pros: Rooms were spacious and clean. breakfast was excellent.
Cons: I specifically requested the renovated rooms over 2 months before arrival,however this request was not met. after complaining, we were transferred to other rooms, but these were not fully renovated either. it was not until my husband complained that we were finally accommodated into the rooms that we had originally booked. however, the rooms were not interconnecing, as we required since we have 3 children and this was considerably inconvenient.

Really close to train station: a great plus if you are traveling by train
