Pros: When the desk clerk gave me a plugin bottle of bug killer.
Cons: The mosquitoes were horrible!!! i awoke after my first night with my right eye swollen shut from several mosquito bites. also the locations of the hotel was a bit sketchy. there were generally groups of men hanging out drinking beer and leaning against the entrance. the street where the hotel is located isn't among the cleaner streets in florence. the hotel room was extremely dark and the shower extremely small. you did not want to remain in the room any longer than was necessary. i would not stay at this hotel again.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. the room and the bathroom (on the corridor) were very clean and convenient. the room was cleaned by hotel staff every day. the location is exellent because it's 10 minutes walk to old florence - uffizzi and others and 5 minutes walk from the train & bus station.
Cons: It was half march, rather cold, and the heating was on 2 hours in the evening and 2 hours in the morning, so nights were extremely cold, there's only sheet and blanket to cover yourself, so take some pyjama & socks to sleep in

Cons: The hotel was on the edge of what felt like the only rough area in florence.
