Pros: Lovely view of the duomo from some rooms and the breakfast terrace, helpful english-speaking staff 24/7, location is not too much of a hike from the center of things, free internet
Cons: Hotel rooms are like basic dorm rooms, dead bugs stuck on the ceiling, room can use a repaint, worst coffee i had in italy for breakfast, and the location, while not far from the center of things, you can still get similarly priced hotels that are better appointed and closer to the main tourist sites

Pros: Everything was great - room, location, breakfast, staff. listed as 2 star but better than many 3 star and equivalent to some 4 star hotels i've stayed at in europe. quiet location, and easy walk to duomo.
Cons: Not negative - just surprised at the towels which were more large sheets of dish towel material.

Pros: It was very near all the attractions, and all attractions in florence in general are near by feet
Cons: The hotel was very very very noisy. our room was near the reception. many young people checked in and were very noisy at the very late hour. reception didnt remind them to calm down as well when everybody was asleep. i was awake more than 5 times whilst staying in the hotel. hotel was depressing.
