Our room was very clean, and that was nice. it is located down the block from the leather market and san lorenzo church and going the other direction, the duomo. the location is the big thing about this place.
You have to walk up over 50 stairs to get to the entrance. imagine that with luggage. it is definitely not a handicap accessible building. this is not a hotel, it is a hostel. there is a shared bath and a curfew. the woman who was working the desk was weird. kind of that nosy mother in law who is faking being happy. my sister and her boyfriend stayed here a week later (because of the price) and had the same experience. because the hostel is located inbetween two popular attractions, the noise was incredible. we had to be up at 4:30 am and had trouble falling asleep because of the noice. there was no tv/radio or anything.

The hotel itself was very clean and located close to not only the train station, but also shopping, restaraunts, and the duomo
The curfew was inconvenient, i didn't feel that we could come and go as we pleased, and it was noisy at night. also, for what we paid, there were absolutely no amenities.
