Simply reached from the main train station (10 minutes walking), Old Tower offers to clients comfort, tranquillity and privacy, everything surrounded by an artistic interior decoration, result of the creativity of the young couple that own it, who are always present and helpful to give suggestions and satisfy the requests of the clients. The double rooms, if needed triple, offer a private bathroom in each room furnished with all the comfort the clients need, like hairdryers, towels, soap, etc. All the rooms, well provided and bright, have satellite TV with channels from all around the world, DVD players, a personal computer with 24-hours Internet connection and free wi-fi if you have a notebook, facilities for coffee and tea, a big wardrobe and comfortable beds. The continental breakfast is included, and it will surprise you with what it has to offer, with typical products of Florence as well. Pros: Very cosy room, comfortable bed, convenient breakfast which can be taken in your room at any time. fantastic location, centrally located and only a stones throw from anything in florence.
Cons: When we reached the hotel we were unable to get into the building. there was a number left for us to call (at very expensive international roaming rates) but nobody picked up. after about an hour of trying to call, we eventually were contacted by fabio, the manager, asking what time we were planning on checking in! from thereon the process was very straightforward, however the cost of getting into contact with the hotel was an unnecessary expense that could have been avoided.

Pros: Nice b&b in a very central location. we stayed in a double room with an external bathroom, both were very clean and large which was great. staff was really friendly. would recommend staying here.
Cons: Few rules that you have to follow, breaking them risks fines of up to 1000euro. wasn't aware of them until we got there. no drinking alcohol in the rooms, having any unauthorised people, washing/drying clothes in your room/bathroom. didn't really affect us too much, just a heads up.

Pros: About 2 minutes walk from the duomo. emilio is a nice guy who speaks english very well. the price of the room was well-worth the money. highspeed wireless internet free and a computer in every room in case you didn't bring a laptop.

Pros: Staff nice. breakfast was average to the point we didn't have any, but it was there if you wanted it. location is teriffic once you find the place! room was nice, big and clean. had a computer in it with web which was good and unexpected.

Pros: A wonderfully quaint place that is amazingly close to all that florence has to offer. it has a feel of a rented loft instead of a hotel and that was refreshing to my significant other and i. very friendly and accommodating staff.

Pros: Nice sized clean room at a very reasonable price. very friendly and helpful owner. good central location so everything is no more than 15 mins walk away. free internet access in room and satellite tv.
Cons: Due to central location, some noise at night, which might bother you if you are a light sleeper. breakfast is rather basic - slightly disappointing - but this is a b&b and not a hotel.
