One of the most popular sights in Bareggio’s vicinity is the Alfa Romeo Museum, or Il Museo dell’Alfa Romeo, located specifically in the town of Arese. If you're staying at one of the hotels in Bareggio, make sure to ask the front desk for directions to the museum. This museum was inaugurated in 1976 and tells the story of this important brand name by taking the visitor along a path that illustrates the innovative technologies used, the memorable models released and the numerous victories conquered on the track. Many of the vehicles on display in the museum are actually still functioning.

There are four sections to the museum. The first section includes more than one hundred vehicles, twenty or so motors and 2 chasses. There are also period photos and various written pieces, posters and brochures related to Alfa Romeo. In the second section you can see drawings displaying various stylistic designs and dream cars, with another eleven vehicles. The third section focuses on Alfa Romeo in the aeronautics field, while the fourth section displays the models and especially the trophies won by Alfa Romeo drivers during the multitude of races run in over one hundred years.
