Linate Airport Milan

There are two major airports in Milan; the Malpensa Airport and the Linate Airport. The Linate is closer to Milan than the Malpensa, so Linate usually only serves short international flights or domestic flights around the country. However, millions of passengers come through the airport each year. So if you travel to Milan from within Italy or Europe, chances are you will fly into Milan’s Linate Airport. Budget hotels near the Linate Airport in Milan may actually be in the town of Peschiera Borromeo, or in Segrate, the suburbs where the airport is located. The airport's main buildings are in Segrate, but the air fields are mostly in Peschiera Borromeo.
