Fans of Neo-classical architecture will want to be sure to see the San Carlo al Corso Church while they are in Milan. The church is considered to be one of the finest examples of the style in all of Italy. It was built between 1839 and 1847 by Carlo Amati, who used the site of an earlier church for his construction. The church is found on the Piazza San Carlo off of the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.
