Just a few blocks to the north of the Duomo, you will find the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum. The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum is situated inside the former home of the barons Bagatti Valsecchi, who donated their home and art collection to create the museum. The 19th century aristocratic home was left just as it was when it was still a private residence, so visitors can enjoy the home itself as well as the artwork and artifacts inside. The museum is normally open only in the afternoons, but as always be sure to check with the museum before making plans to visit.
