Pros: The room was lovely and the staff helpful.
Cons: Our reservation was not honored on the first night of 4 nights reserved bc the hotel could not get in touch with the credit card agency in italy on the first day to confirm. they had the number, but no one in the agency would answer the phone. therefore, we were placed in a hotel next door and then moved the following day since the hotel was oversold that night. that was uncomfortable to walk in and find out there was no reservation for us that first night. and we had to walk through some interesting groups of people to get to the front door.

the location is in the red light district. my son and daughter got a first hand view of the working girls every evening as we left the hotel for dinner. it was not a good location for any family. the area was run down and dirty. there were street vendors on every space in front of the hotel and surrounding blocks selling everything including used clothing that appeared to be used over and over. nothing wrong with yard sales, but not covering all of the side walks.
