Olbia Tempio is a province in Sardinia, Italy with its own dialect and a great deal of importance in the history of Italy and the region at large. The area is known for the region of Gallura. People here sometimes speak a form of Sardinian called "gallurese" which is distinct from other forms of the language. The largest city in Olbia Tempio is Olbia which is known for what used to be the cathedral of San Somplicio dating from the 11th Century. Olbia is also the transportation hub of the region. The city of Tempio Pausania is known for its many historic sites, including the Ruins of Palace of Giudice Nino Visconti di Gallura, from the 13th Century, and the San Pietro Church.
