"Unbelievable"

We have not experienced quality like this on weeks of travel in Italy. This refurbished hotel provides beautiful linen to complement the decor and serves breakfast in a room described by the guests as they walk in as "charmant" or "schon". What a pleasure to have lovely fine crockery to use as well. The normal railway station loungers gather outside, but the hotel is a short walk from the marvellous Capella degli Scrivegni and there's no need to catch a tram to any of Padua's other attractions

Pros: Great rooms,good beds,fresh clean linnen every day.building is a nicely restored old small palace.
Cons: Being close to train station was very convenient to travel to venice, in the evenings the atmosphere around any train station is a little eery.
