Citta Sant Angelo is a community in the province of Pescara in Italy’s Abruzzo region. It is about 19 kilometers (11.8 miles) from the city of Pescara. The community dates back to the 13th century. Legend says this town was once save from a bandit attack by the Virgin Mary. This is a great place to make a stopover while on a tour, and perhaps even to spend a weekend.
