Pros: The room was better/larger than expected with pleasant/clean bathroom. bed was comfortable and view from window across the promenade and sea was good.easy access to port for cruisers and very near railway station.
Cons: The only negative comment was the man on reception who appeared to want to do as little as possible to help when the key would not open the door to the bedroom. only after i had gone down to reception three times after using different keys did he decide he would go to the room to help travelling with him in the elevator in total silence. his key also didn't work.... yet again. he then came back with another pass key which did work but departed with not one word of apology for the hassle caused to me. shame really as the rest of the stay was good by civitavecchia hotel standards which in general are not very high.

Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating.
Cons: I was disappointed in the room. for the price i paid, i expected the room to be a little more impressive. however, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.
