Although The Reservation was confirmed By you The hotel did not have à ReservationWe had to wait for more than an houd bedorven we got à roomWe were not amused

I had prepaid the reservation . When I arrived I was told that I didn't hsve a reservation. They finally found it, but said no prepayment was made. It took several days,phone calls etc for them to admit they had made a mistake. Ask for the manager right away if this happens..... Reception was polite but not helpful.... Room and orther services were ok and it is convenient to Rome airport.

Pros: Very close to airport - less than 5 minutes - could walk to airport from mach 2 in about 15 minutes.
Cons: No free shuttle service as website suggests, it costs 6 eur each way but service does not start before 6am so i had to take a cab which the hotel arranged - looks like they called on one of their buddies (very chummy with hotel clerk), a private single operator named taxi di mitri, who did not use the meter (pretty sure it's against italian law) who gouged me with a 25 eur fare for a ride that lasted less than 5 minutes and wanted cash only even though i specifically told hotel clerk that i was going to pay by credit card - when he saw my credit card, he showed me his list where he claimed hotel told him cash payment, then he asked how many eur i had on me suggesting he would take less than the 25 eur for cash as underground operators do to avoid declaring income. he finally pulled his remote visa terminal out of his duffle bag and processed my card for 25 eur (34+ usd) while the cab cable unattached to the cab. pretty sure this is his modus operandi - is it any wonder that italy is on the brink of financial collapse?
