69 Manin Street B&B in Rome - Pictures
Description
69 Manin Street B&B lies at a brilliant and strategic location: the building rises up over one of the ancient Roman Hills, the Esquilino, just aside the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Termini Central Rail station on the other side gives you the chance to quickly depart heading towards your next destination. Metro A & B line stops are less than 1 minute walking distance. Very helpful staff and room was impeccable albeit the bunk beds for our teenage boys a little small. location was perfect - everything we needed for our stay and would choose it again.
Nothing big - but tea/coffee and milk were not topped up so went without a couple of mornings.

Very near termini station, apparently not a 'good' area but we felt safe and local people seemed friendly. man on reception was very helpful and friendly and on our arrival marked out several places of interest on a map - this was really useful as we had no idea where anything was etc. room was warm and clean. kettle and coffee in room was very welcome.

We were very impressed with the room and the staff were extremely helpful. the hotel is situated in an old building full of character and it felt very italian. we prefer small, family run hotels as opposed to the larger impersonal chains and this 69 manin st was perfect. the room was small but perfectly adequate and was spotlessly clean. we read some reviews about the area not being particularly nice but we would disagree with those comments.i felt safe walking at night as a woman and with my two children. then again we live in a city and so are used to city life. the hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the underground, restaurants and historical sites. i loved it and would definitely reccomend it for those wanting to experience a real slice of italian hospitality!!!!

From the email confirmation through to the actual completion of our stay this has been the most enjoable experience. a lovely warm welcome awaited us and we were not disappointed in any way, the rooms are comfortable, well appointed and in the most convenient position in relation to sights and train station. just wonderful four days almost like home. the web site only allows us to recommend to one category, but i think anyone would enjoy a stay at this establishment.
Cant think of a thing.

Really good location just by the termini station and a ten minute walk to the colossium - francesco the manager recommended good restuarants and gave insider tips on how not to queue for the attractions - we loved it.

Staff were very helpful, francesco & his team were so accomodating & polite really made us feel welcome.if you are offered their pick up service take it as it is very reasonable at 90euros for a pick up/return journey to the airport.the hotel is very well placed within walking distance to the termini where you can get good priced public transport to the major sights.a great stay & would definetely consider returning to this hotel if ever in rome again.

A very friendly welcome indeed. very helpful at all times. rooms very clean and ordered. the addition of a kettle for tea and coffee was excellent!
We did have to shift rooms after the first day due to plumbing works but that was no real problem at all - we even got a larger room

Excellent location for transport and sight seeing, comfortable bed, very polite, helpful and friendly staff, we arrived late due to flight delay but there was someone waiting to meet us.problems experienced were dealt with quickly and very politely.
Although well located and easy for transport the hotel/room needs some attention - heated towel rail did not operate, shower walls need cleaning, a small room for the price and i thought the rate was quite expensive(probably due to the euro/pound exchange)room service was questionable, one day the condiments were replensihed for a single occupancy and on another no refreshments provided. we had to call to report this on both occasions, i think this reflected a somewhat poor attention to room services. staff were however very polite and helpful in resolving the problems.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. the hotel was situated in a great place right next to the train station which made it overly easy to access everything in rome.
Our luggage was stored in a room which was leaking from the roof and made one of our suitcases entirely wet, completely ruining a 40euro painting we had bought of the colloseum.
