Accommodation Bed in Rome LocationAccommodation Bed in Rome Location (Map)
Accomodation Bed in Rome is located in the picturesque and antique neighbourhood near Ponte Milvio, one of the oldest bridges across the Tiber River in Rome, dating back to the second century BC. The famous battle for the imperial throne between Constanine and Massenzio took place here. The neighbourhood offers a rich assortement of typical Roman restaurants, bars and pizzerias. You can take a stroll along the romantic Tiber River or rent bicycles and ride down the bike lane which will take you to the St. Peter and the spectacular Castel S. Angelo in just 20 minutes. On the last Sunday of every month there is an open-air antique/flea market set up along the river, where you can find all sorts of italian relics from the past. For people fond of athletics and soccer, the olympic stadium is only 200 metres away.

The penthouse suite was superb, spotlessly clean with en-suite & separate breakfast room., ponte milvio location was perfect, waterfront views of the tiber & the historic bridge from the nearby piazza, the stadio flaminio & olympic stadio were both within walking distance although the local tram service was available, also connecting to the metro a line.a great choice with easy transport links to the vatican & the sights of rome.

The hotel was very basic, but very clean.fine for a short stay.within reasonable distance of city centre.
The foyer of the hotel needs freshened up,as on arrival,it looks very shabby. also our balcony overlooked a scrap yard, which wasnt the best view in tyhe world!

Really nice owner, a bit far from the city centre but with a good connection by trams or buses, clean room, air-condition.
Not much choice for the breakfast, mosquitoes (pe prepared).

Easy public transport recamendation if you are using the public transport for more then 3 days i would invest in a week pass which costs 16 euros and u can use on all of italys public transport. buses, trains, trams, underground.
Changing the shower head apart from that it was ok

We spent one night in the hotel. the facilities were excellent at this b and b in the outskirts of rome. lower price reflects location further from city centre. several attractive places to eat nearby, quiet rooms, easy and fast bus route to the centre. extremely friendly welcome from the owner. through no fault of the owners, the council was due to cut of the water supply the day after we arrived. the owners arranged for us to stay in another of their hotels (more cemtral at no extra cost), transferred our luggage and made sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, giving advise about local attractions etc
The breakfast is very poor (only one bread roll, some crispbreads and some jam as well as tea coffe or juice). the only way to heat up water for hot drinks was the microwave, i would suggest having a kettle. there was no sink in the kitchenette area and this would have been useful. it would be better to say the apartments were self catering and not provide any breakfast and lower the price a little. the bathroom was not ensuite but in a separate adjoining room that you could only lock with the key. it would be nice to have a latch on the inside. the shower was of very poor quality and hardly a dribble. the locks were all poor quality making it difficult to open and lock the doors. the only tv is in the communal living room and it is very small. it would be nice to provide a tv in your room.

Very clean, comfortable bed, nice neighbourhood with ample choice of restaurants and bars, easy to access
A better map could be provided to enable guests to find the accomodation first time, or maybe we need a map reading course!

Staff were very friendly and accomadating.
It is not a hotel and should not be placed under a website for hotel. we could have been informed before hand that it would not accept credit card, just a cash payment.

Accomodation location was excellent, a few km from the center but with excellent local transport links to all major areas of interest. the other advantages were that it was in a quiet residential area with excellent local facilities (markets, shops, restaurants and bars) which were far cheaper than the city centre. also very close to the olympic stadium, therefore excellent for sporting occasions. brilliant service from apartment owners with lots of advice on finding our way around. overall faultless!

The b&b was relatively easy to find on public transport. the host was absolutely fantastic very friendly and helpful. the room was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. the location was great especially after spending all day in crowds of tourist it was nice to come back to a quieter neighbourhood, there were a few restaurants just down the road, and the markets across the road in the morning meant we could buy fresh fruit, breads and meats which kept us going through the days and meant we didn't have to pay cafes at tourist prices. we returned each day to an emaculately clean room. overall a fantastic experience.
The breakfast supplied was not very nice.

It was within easy distance of trams etc to get into the centre of rome
I was very annoyed at the fact that i had specifically booked an en-suite room yet when i got there it wasn't availabe, i could have been easily reached beforehand and informed of this so that i could have looked for alternative accommodation.

Good, friendly helpful owner. breakfast set out the night before, all was basic but clean and well presented.
It's a 25 minute bus ride from the centre, or a walk and a tram. it's not too bad considering the price, but if location is not of prime importance then this place is great.
