It was very close to the main termini which goes to every tourist attraction. very good location.
The area in which we stayed wasn't very desirable. there was rubbish everywhere and graffetti on every wall. and a homeless person on each road. didnt feel very safe walking around at night.

Good value for money considering it's central location
The first night we were in a triple room that had an unpleasant bathroom, the rest of the stay we were in a double room which was okay. the beds were a bit sagging

Staff were terrific. as others have posted, the stairs are a killer, but the hotel location is perfect. an easy walk from trimini train station and just behind the baths of diacletion. metro and bus stops nearby. very helpful and friendly staff. a great experience at a great price.
No elevator so be able to lug your bags up stairs.

Handy to the main train station
It was advertised as 'newly renovated' - the shower was borken, the washing machine didn't work, the stove didn't work, stuffing was coming out of chairs, though billed as accommodation for 6 people it didn't even have sufficient china and cutlery for 2, the stairs were a killer at the end of a days walking

Very friendly and helpful lady who worked there, she gave us lots of good advice. great location near termini station, easy to find. right opposite a restauraunt which was very cheap (for rome). whole hotel decorated in a roman style which was very pretty. had a balcony and tv with bbc news. great value for money.
Air conditioning was 3euros extra a night, and there was only one control for it which was in the hallway and therefore could be turned off during the night by other guests. i dont think there was internet access, but as we didnt need it i am not sure.

It was really close to termini station what gives a possibility to go everywhere very fast by subway and in general, the location was great. the staff also was really helpful and kind. the bathroom was shared but during my 4 days of stay i haven't seen no one from the rooms next to mine. they didn't have an ac of what i was afraid but in fact it wasn't a problem. i would recommend this hotel for people who want to visit a lot cause the location is great and who need a place to sleep and to wash themselves.
Lack of lift and noise outside during the night but i think it's not a fault of the hotel
